may i know is Mphil level 7 or 8? I am in 5 years cap, i have to apply further. so, is Mphil ok for me or I have to go for Phd? please let me know. thanks

Hi,
It is advisable that you prepare a very good research proposal to secure admission for PhD programme in University of your choice as some institution will first enrol you for MPhil and after considerable progress your registration will be upgraded to full PhD programme. However, some university will register you directly onto PhD, MPhil is considered to be at level 7 while PhD is level 8.
