Hello All,
I have a friend who would like to know:
He had applied for Canadian immigration from London on valid student visa at that time but recently he has claimed Asylum in Ireland. although he has all the points to qualify, will his asylum status in Ireland affect his application to Canada?

he is very worried on this issue. please advise and help.

On principles, it should not effect if he has good reasons for his Asylum case.
