ILR Approval after 14 months

I am happy to share my friend ILR application has been approved after 14 months

It was a PEO application at Croydon during April 2016 and it was put on hold because of Tax amendments made in 2012 (this amendment made in 2012 not in 2016) and we had a HMRC letter dated 2012 confirming the change and our letter to HMRC dated 2012.

I have a query on the Naturalization, since her ILR application has taken more than one year time for the outcome does she need to wait for one more year in ILR for Naturalisation. I have read somewhere that the applicant can apply Naturalisation straight away if the ILR application wait time is more than year. Is that correct?

She went to Croydon during April 2016 and was asked to fill the one pager about any past company directorship and tax amendments. She ticked yes for both and with application submitted a letter dated 2012 from her to HMRC about the tax amendments for year 2009/10 and acknowledgement letter from HMRC about the correction dated 2012. This is valid correction made in 2012 for Tax year 2009/10. Please note this correction is a genuine one made in 2012 (not 2015/16) and not made just to satisfy the visa requirement. They put her application on hold and asked for her tax assessment paper for 2009/10 to be sent within 14 days.

She fell victim because of the multiple application with tax amendments similar to her one during that time but we chased Home Office multiple times with emails and letters thorough immigration advisor pointing the fact this amendment made during the year 2012 and a genuine one. I think our main document to justify this was our letter to HMRC and HMRC letter dated 2012.

No letters or questionnaire was sent to her nor any interview letter.
