COS generation time

Hi,

I was working in ~UK with a employer ~(on dependent visa). Suddenly i had to come back to India. Now my employer wants to sponsor my `general visa. ~Earlier they were not having sponsorship License, so they applied for it. They got their application approved on 22june and got their licence. Now they say they are generating COS from the SMS tool but its been 13 days COS is still not generated. Can anyone one tell me how much time it takes to generate and assign COS ?

it depends if they have a cos or not. a licence does not necessarily come with cos.
additional cos are requested and can take between 2 days to 2 months.
once they have cos, it takes around 10 min to assign one.
