Why are you asking the question again????zindagi03 wrote:Hi,
My wife came to UK in 2011 on Tier 1 General Visa, obtained ILR through 5 year continuous stay and last year she got British passport.
I applied dependent visa in 2013. After this I again applied for extension in 2015 and got extension until March 2018.
As I did not meet the condition of continuous 5 years rule. Because in last year I spent just 5 months instead of 6 months in whole year. So I suppose my continuous period set to zero.
1)So Now should I apply as 'Dependant of Tier 1' or 'Dependant of a British Citizen' for my extension?
2) And how can I apply.
Thank you very much in advance for your help.
Regards,
Masood
Why would you want to do that? You cannot make two applications to two different departments at the same time. If you want to apply for an extension and pay the visa fee and IHS of £600 for a 3 year visa, go ahead. ILR is already very expensive, even more so if applying in person.zindagi03 wrote:And in same time should i apply for extention for save option ????
