Citizenship application and travel

Hi,

I applied for naturalisation and have received my poss port back
I would like to travel now to my home for a could of weeks . Is this alright to do.

Hi,

Yes of course you can travel. It has nothing to do with your application. As long as you are not leaving the country for more than six weeks.

Once you have applied for the naturalisation, does the sex weeks rule still apply? Just curious! The point is, the requirement for six weeks to be the normal holiday period is only related to the application for the Irish passport. Once you have applied for that, do they still have any objections on any overstay etc?
What are your thoughts?

From Inis website
"Note: If you are outside the State for longer than 6 weeks after you submit your application, you must notify INIS by letter or email to explain why."
