EC Fingerprints for Tier 1?

I understand the new laws will require all people applying for a new visa under the PBS will have to be fingerprinted; does anyone have any confirmation of this or details of how it will work?

Yes any visa to be stamped needs the biometric test to be taken. I have got my business visa and they have also taken my finger prints.

How did they administer the tests? Did you have to go to the Home Office?

as far as i know, in india, we need to do biometric test at the VFS office..
