holder of Czech Permanent Residence - can work in UK?

holder of Czech Permanent Residence - can work in UK?

Hi,

I am a Russian citizen with a 10-year Czech Permanent Residence permit. Given that CZ has joined the EU, does this mean that I am free to seek employment in the UK without any additional requirements like work visas, proving my qualifications, etc?

No, sorry - u'll need CZ citizenship in order to work freely within the EU.

As Wanderer mentioned, you would be treated as a Russian (i.e. non-EU) citizen.

If you have been on 10-year Czech Permanent Residence permit, there is high possibility that you could apply for Czech citizenship. have you explored this option ?.
