Question about marriage notification

Question about marriage notification

I am wondering if anyone can help me with this question.

So I am currently on a tier 2 work visa and I am going back to my country for 2 weeks to get married and my wife is not British. I know I have to notify the police that my marital status has changed from single to married but do I need to notify the home office too?

I read everything on the website about the section for changes of circumstances but it only mentions marriage when the process involves change of name.

Thanks a lot for the reply.

I finally was able to call the home office and they confirmed your reply and said as long as I didn't change my name then I don't need to notify them.
