NHS fee for Tier 2 General

Post by RamyaA » Mon Jul 10, 2017 4:28 pm

Hello All,

I am applying for a Tier 2 General 3 years Visa from India.
But according to my Cos, work end date -(minus) work start date is few months more than 3 years.
Does that mean I need to pay the NHS fee for 4 years as the cos is more than 3 years though my visa is only for 3 years ?

Please help me with your pointers.

Thanks in advance,
Ramya

if its over 3 years, then u will have to pay for 3.5 years.
However, i believe ihs charges are rounded down when applying from outside the country, so u will have to pay for 3 years.

Urgent... SOC 2136 Shortage occupation?

Post by RamyaA » Fri Jul 14, 2017 12:22 pm

My sponsor gave the soc code as 2136 Programmers and software development
professionals.

Do I need to apply for Tier 2 general shortage occupation visa or Tier 2 General standard Occupation visa ?
Job title given is Oracle SOA consultant. Please give your suggestions.

Cos for 4 years, visa applied for 3 years

Post by RamyaA » Thu Aug 10, 2017 3:02 pm

I applied for Tier 2 General priority visa. My Cos is for 4 years.

But I have applied for Tier 2 General 3 years visa and paid the visa fee and NHS fee for 3 years only. Is that okay or it raises any reasons for rejection?

Please suggest me here as I am worried that I paid the NHS fee only for 3 years by selecting Work end date one year less than the actually Cos work end date.

Is there anything I can do now as I have paid the fee already ?

Thanks,
Ramya

Tier 2 general visa start date vs cos end date

Post by RamyaA » Thu Aug 10, 2017 4:32 pm

According to my Cos :

Start date: 01 July 2017
End date: 30 June 2021

I have visa appointment on 28th Aug 2017. Is that okay to have the past work start date ?

Do I need to ask my sponsor to amend the work start date ?

Please suggest.

Thanks,
Ramya
