Tier 2 Travel

HI!

My Tier 2 Visa expires on May 2018. I wanted to travel from December 2017 to return on January 2018, 4 months before my visa expires. Will any issue arise on my return as the visa is near expiry (4 months)ie will border control allow my entry?? Should I bring extra documents? Ultimately, will this cause any issue on extending my tier 2 visa come May?

It should not be a problem at all. You could come back even a day before your visa expires.
