ADVISE ON EEA RESIDENCE PERMIT APPLICATION

Post by sbellet » Wed Jul 19, 2017 12:52 pm

Hi guys
Im very new to this forum and i am forced to seek help and guidance
I am an Non EEA family member of an EEA national, we been married for the last 18 months, my wife EEA nations holds a resident card and has been living in uk for over 5 years, i recently applied for my EEA Permanent Residence, currently on an EEA-FP valid for 6 months, the trouble is i work onboard Ships and because of the nature of my work im on a short period of holiday ranging from 5weeks to 12 weeks max and then away on a contract for 6 months.
i made an application for PR following are the dates
Application received : 14/07/2017
Payment thru my card : 15/07/2017
Acknowledge letter / email not received
Bio metric Letter not received
I have been asked to join duty by the end of the month
Any Advise

Ps: This is my 2nd application for Permanent Residence the first time i was forced to withdraw as i received my Biometric while i was at Sea, Im afraid im heading the same route, any suggestion?

I really dont want to go back to My home town and re do the EEA FP visa all over again and waste 3 weeks during its process when i only get about 12 weeks max holidays.

would much appreciate any suggestion or advise.

I think you mean application for residence card and not permanent residence.
