Spouse visa

Post by Mango_man » Sat Jul 15, 2017 9:16 am

Dear Folks,

First time using this forum to get an information in relation to an Irish immigration. I found that this forum is such a very helpful in relation to all immigration matters.

I am an Irish citizen and my 2 kids are also an Irish citizens through foreign birth registration. My wife is from an India. Presently I have been living and working in emirates airline in UAE since last year. I am planning to send my 2 kids along with her mother back to an Ireland but her mother do not have an Irish visa now. She has visited to an Ireland twice on visit visa before.

Being an Irish citizen and living in outside the state other than Ireland, can I apply for a long term visa for her ? If I can apply then what documents would do I need for that. Because in INIS website says, an Irish citizen can apply for long term visa for wife, if living in outside an Ireland.

Can someone have an experience in relation to above query or any suggestions.

Please let know in relation to that. I will be very great full to you guys.

you need to apply for long term visa for her.In your case, it seems very easy.Just send them all the relevant documents,i.e. passports, marriage certificate and birth certificate along with a letter stating your intention to reside in Ireland.

Thanks euspouse07 for reply.
But presently working in UAE and I do not know from here can i apply for my wife long term visa or not. Or it must be compulsory to be present in Ireland to apply for a long term visa for spouse. Please share if you know any info.

Apply to your nearest Irish embassy.Give them all the details regarding your relationship. Best thing is to write a detailed letter and provide all the documents in support of that.Addition to that, You ,must mention that u have the intention to move and reside in Ireland.Pm me if you need any help
