Advice on family visit visa

Hi,

I am living in uk and holding British passport. I want to apply for visit visa for my brother who lives in singapore and holiding singapore resisdence permit. But he will be entering uk from Europe after finishing his business trip in Norway. Could you please let me know if I have to apply for special type visa on this occurance or normal family visit visa. Appreciate your early response as he is trying to come to uk in mid of September and not sure if I have enough time.
