Took IELTS in 2003,can this be used for switching Tier1

Hi there,
I am on HSMP and would like to switch to Tier1 and one of the requirements is English language.I took IELTS in 2003 and scored 7.
I would like to know if I can use the same test results to qualify for English language requirement or do I need to take a new test?
Any suggestions are appreciated.

I don't know ..
It seem to be that that was available in the pre tier 1 system
and many people got their visa with an old IELTS if you were extending your HSMP.
I don't know if that will be the case still.
I'm in the same dilema and been living in the UK
and having have to think of the idea of taking the IELTS Again seems to be insane to me....

Hi all,
just want to share info on this I got from BIA.I called BIA today and the lady said, we can use the old IELTS score for applying to TIER1 from HSMP.

Naveen any idea if an old TOEFL test would be sufficient. I gave TOEFL in 2002 and it is mentioned on the report itself that it is invalid after 2 yrs.

sorry mate...not sure about old TOEFL.However, I think it can be used, better to double check with BIA again...
