MATERNITY ALLOWANCE

Post by fairlady231 » Thu Mar 06, 2008 9:31 pm

Does anyone know if maternity allowance is public funds. I know that Statutory Maternity Pay (SMP) paid by employers is not public fund but i am not sure of maternity allowance. I have searched but i have not found anywhere that says that it is. Please just for further clarification. Thanks.

Maternity allowance is something that is pay by your employer and not from public funds, hence it is not public funds.
