bathanza wrote:Small update: About a month ago I was using https://contact-ukvi.homeoffice.gov.uk/ ... visastatus and none of my reference numbers, CASE ID was working. But the IHS is working and it states that the case has been considered and awaiting decision since 11th April 17

I JUST tried my case ID and it worked, but now, it states it IS awaiting decision since 12th June 17. This was a day before I called the HO to ask what was going on and was told it's just pending and to wait. This gave me a small sliver of hope BUT, more waiting! WOW. Two references, two different dates.. again, how much can we depend on this beta system if it's rather strange in results. :) :)
Same here. It says my application is awaiting a decision since 11 April via my IHS ref. no. However, I typed the HO's ref. no. (not case ID) and it says it's awaiting a decision since May. I believe the latter is more accurate. My case ID is not being recognised though.

I wrote a typo, my case ID wasnt working, now it is.

Also, update for those interested, spoke to my solicitor, the rule changes are for spousal outside of the country and for FLRM, there is no min income for FLR FP routes.

also, if we pass the 1 year since application, we can apply for permission to work.

Husband's timeline - overstayer 11 yrs
08/16 - FLR (FP) Partner, refused 02/18, 03/18 - JR permission refused with merit
08/18 - FLR FP (Partner) PSC - Approved
07/20 - FLR FP to FLR M Switch - Approved, 03/23 FLR M Ext Approved.

A massive congratulations to you, what a relief. How long did you wait for your decision?

Other members waiting, the timeline thread has been busy and there are many people getting decisions, even approval from someone who applied in Feb 2016 so everyone, keep the faith and whatever the outcome we can reach out to the admins and those more knowledgeable to help us out with our situation.

Coming up to 1 year waiting in a few weeks time but have a feeling it's close. Hope everyone is well

@bathanza, am also coming to 1 year in a few weeks concerning the wait for my application and like other members I really appreciate your updates and simplified explanations.

Last month July after almost 11 months I was contacted by HO to send additional documents which I did and it's almost 3 weeks since then I havent heard anything. But like you said I hope it's close

At least I now know that the online track service isn't reliable as a user who got a decision yesterday, posted that their status still showing 'awaiting decision'. So relief to that as I keep checking mine every hour daily, so we know that can't ascertain the true position of our applications (it's a trial service still)

Hopefully we all shall start to update on the FLR thread with positive updates soon. Best of luck all and keep posting updates.

Hi, did you check your application status using your case ID? It seems like the case ID is the only reference no. that provides the accurate status of one's application.

When did you post if it was postal application .
Application date is when they received your application

There's no update on the timeline thread. I'm waiting patiently until the 1 year passes, will call the solicitor and get the MP involved. This is more than enough to be honest and we need to get a decision for the case! What on earth could they be debating on or waiting on, BUT.. keeping the faith and waiting. TC guys. We are all in it together so don't feel down if you're the only one, you are NOT.
