Tier 1 confirmation in Pakistan

Dear All,

Iâ€™m from Pakistan and I got HSMP approval on 21-JAN-2008.

As new point base system (Tier 1) will be apply in India from April 1, 2008.

Due to some family problem I want to apply for EC in June 2008. But I want to confirm that tier 1 will only apply in India from April 1 or all other countries including Pakistan.

Please confirm me if tier 1 will not apply in Pakistan then I will apply on June 2008.

Dost,

Tier1 wont be applicable in Pakistan till summers tis year..may b till August 2008. you ar i believe safe enough...

if they change rules or political situation changes u r in limbo

I do agree with above. Deciding policy for india only seems that they may remove certain or all countries from the list. So its better to have your passport stamped and move later instead delaying the EC.

Thanks All to reply on my query. Infact Iâ€™m doing some work to manage my bank statement thatâ€™s why waiting for 2-3 months. But for safe end I think I should apply ASAP.

HI Guys!

I m from pakistan but doing job in other country, I have compiled all my documents including IELTS 6 band certificate, only i m waiting for NARIC comparability letter, which is expected on 25 March, I have Master of Philosphy degree in Pharmacy. Please advise should i wait for the NARIC letter or I should send my Application to HO. `coz there is a chance of TIER1 Implementation in pakistan with india. Please give ur valuable advice

Hi All,

If Tier-1 starts in Pakistan, what will happen to those who have HSMP approval letter, won't they be able to apply for EC?

What changes will be in EC process after starting of Tier-1 in pakistan.

I have sent my documents for HSMP1 Approval and waiting for approval letter.

What will happen? If Tier-1 starts in Pakistan before I get initial approval letter, will I have to re-apply for it again?

I read the following post on another thread "EC in in india after April"

"You need to fill with tier-1 form if you apply after april.
can anyone tell me if somebody apply EC after april whether its 3 years or 2 years"

But I m confused if somebody is HSMP approved why he or she needs to fill TIER 1 form. `coz he or she is already approved from home office so he is to simply fily fill VAF form and attach HSMP approva letter
