If you have a foreign degree, you will need UK NARIC ELA, UKVI red route.

Foreign = NON UK degree.

You have a foreign degree. You need Naric assessment.

UK tier-2 general visa Query

Post by priyanka3006 » Mon Aug 14, 2017 8:25 am

3) Offer letter from UK company
4)Bank statement
5) TB test result,
can anyone please tell if anything is missing?
Do i need to get my BE degree accessed by UKNARIC as well?
is the IELTS test result in mail is sufficient? or i need to wait for the result by post before applying for visa?
Thanks

Which assessment to took for NARIC

Post by priyanka3006 » Wed Aug 16, 2017 4:58 pm

HI,

I need to apply for UK tier-2 general visa.
Under english Language section, its mentioned that if we have non EU degree then it needs to be assessed by UK NARIC. I had created an account in UKNARIC website but there are two options:
1) Statement of Comparability
2)English Language Assessment
Do i need to select both option? if no, then which one to choose?
Please help me ASAP.
Thanks

You need to apply the RED ROUTE (Visa and Nationality) one. Thats specific for visa application. It assess both the equivalence and proficiency.

Read this page https://www.naric.org.uk/visas%20and%20 ... fault.aspx

Hi
RED ROUTE (Visa and Nationality) service is not fast track. I need to get the result ASAP. can i go for
both 1)Statement of Comparability
2)English Language Assessment
and then apply fasttrack?
Will it affect the decision regarding visa if i go for separate services instead of one visa and nationality?
Thanks

IHS payment missed

Post by priyanka3006 » Wed Aug 23, 2017 2:03 pm

Hi,

I applied to UK tier-2 visa on 17 july 2017, It got rejected due to English assessment level . ~The start date on COS was 31 july 2017. At that time i paid IHS amount of 17000 INR. Now again i am applying for visa and supposed to start at 6 sep 2017. Even though the date on COS is still 31 july.
While submitting visa application it was IHS payment option and it asked for start date . I entered 6 sep 2017 and the end date was 4 april 2018. The IHS payment amount turns out to be 0. I then filled the application and did the payment.
Could you please tell me if the start date was supposed to be 31 july on IHS payment site or the 6 sept, which i entered later, is fine? `If not, please suggest what should i do?can i do the payment later or i need to create new application?
Thanks

Did you get a new CoS?

The IHS is payable for the duration of the visa you are applying for. If you are applying for 'up to 3 years' you should pay £600.

What is the relevance of the April 2018 end date you put in the application?

How long is the visa for that you are applying for?

You cannot apply for a new Tier 2 General visa with a used CoS. Your sponsor must issue a new CoS.

You used the CoS already for the application that was refused did you not?

You need a new CoS. You cannot use one CoS for two separate applications. Once you apply, the CoS is 'used' and cannot be used again.

UK Visa "apply for refund" not working

Post by priyanka3006 » Tue Aug 29, 2017 10:06 am

HI,

i submitted one application on UK visa website and payment is also done. But now i want to cancel that application and create a new one as there is one mistake in that. When i click on apply to refund button nothing is happening , except the payment date text box is being highlighted in blue.
This payment date changes everyday and shows me the current date. Not sure whats happening.
It then allows me to postpone the aPPOIntment, but i want to cancel this appointment.
Can anybody please let me know why this is happening or faced similar situation? please provide the resolution also.
Thanks
