ICT Tier2 ST to Tier 2 General

Hi All,

I am currently working on ICT Tier2 ST and my VISA is valid until December 2017. My company would like to sponsor me again for 3 years.

1. Can they Sponsor me Tier 2 General immediately?
2. Do I have to server any cooling off period to get tier 2 general?

2. Yes, unless you are paid above a certain salary.

What is the start date of your visa?

26th Dec 2016 is start date and Valid till 25th Dec 2017. They are ready to pay me £30k+ as well. I was thinking I can apply for Tier 2 General in Jan 2018 from India.

12 months cool off period applies unless proposed salary is >= £159,600 pa

Sad. My company also registered with different name In Sponsor in sponsor ship list. Still they cannot sponsor me using another company name?

Its not just your employer who cannot sponsor you.
You are basically debarred from the UK work market for a year i.e. cool off. You can, however, work on a different visa e.g. a Tier 2 dependant or a Tier 4 dependant
