Do i have to send back my passport to HO?

I just received the questionnaire from HO about surrinder singh application. And I just realized that in the paper it is written that if i didnt send.my passport with the application fir supporting, i have to send it now,

But I already asked for returning my passport and it returned to my address,
Do i have to send it again?

Can anyone help me as i have to submit my documents to HO :cry:
