Escalating the case ....???

Post by sofia789 » Mon Aug 21, 2017 12:04 pm

I am a sponsor in the UK and my spouse has applied settlement visa from Paskitan. I wrote an email earliear and they replied "your application is being considered and is currently awaiting a decision."
As 12 weeks have passed. I have asked for the escalation of the case through an email. They have written:
"your application has been considered and is currently awaiting a decision."
and have asked below details to escalate the case.
Full Name
Date of Birth
GWF number
Immigration Health Surcharge number
Passport number
Place of submission
Type of Visa applied for
Date of biometrics
Nationality
Applicants e-mail
What does happen when your case is being escalated? Would they call me (the sponsor in the UK)? or the applicant in the Pakistan?
I am escalating the case as sponsor on the behalf of the applicant. Is it ok? Would they call me as sppnsor in the UK or the applicant in Pakistan?

From experience they don't call anyone. They just identify the case to be dealt with as a priority.
