1st and 2nd stage of naturalisation

Post by gorgeous » Tue Aug 22, 2017 10:46 pm

Hi guys,

Just a quick one here: what happens during the first and second stage of naturalisation?

I mean, does anyone know what they check during the first and second stage?

Thanks!

As far as I'm aware on first stage they check all papers, eligibility and make sure your application can actually be submitted for processing, along with checking valid stamps from solicitor etc and your passport.

Second stage is where they do all the deep checks in paper, GNIB, travels, court, offences, bills, etc.

Some people get stuck in either application due to huge load they receive from number of applicants and also maybe to any small issue with the papers.

In both ways, good luck!
