NI number and pay

Post by NHS2017 » Sat Aug 26, 2017 6:24 pm

Morning, I have two questions please and will appreciate anybody taking time to answer these. I resigned from NHS job and will be applying for tier 2 after cooling off period.

1) Will i have to apply for National insurance number again once i am back?
2) On your pay slip are NI contributions and pension deductions the same or they are two different things?

I would like to thank again in advance .

1. No. You get one number and it is yours forever.

2. Different things.
