Hi Geet1328

Yes I think they do work on Saturdays too even though they have mentioned not working weekends/Bank Holidays.

I am only saying this is because my first call from them on a Saturday. I remember

Hi
When did you got a call from HO?
Did they ask about your employment?
Have you got the call after you escalated your case?

Me and my husband had a interview that lasted 75 min on 28/06/2017, his was in India and mine was in the uk at the same time, they asked me we're do you work? How does the place you work at looks like? What shops are nearby? Who works with you, there first name there surname? They even asked the same questions from my husband were about does your wife work and ect......
But until today they haven't called my manager yet, even when my husband and my question macheted they sent me This.....

Thank you for applying for a UK visa. Your visa application has been received and is under consideration. We aim to process non settlement applications within 15 working days (unless you have opted for the Priority Visa service), and settlement applications within 60 working days.

Unfortunately, the processing of your application has not been straightforward and we will be unable to decide your application within our customer service targets. We are continuing to work on your application and aim to make a decision as soon as possible.

We will write to you again if there is any change to this. Please do not attend the Visa Application Centre until you have been advised that your application has been decided and that your passport is ready for collection.

Kind Regards,

UK Decision Making Centre

wow! exactly same happened to our application. home office switched our flr m 5 year route to the 10 year partner route. they issued 30 months visa. question is what process to follow now? what visa do we apply after 30 months have finished? and what are the requirements?

Hi Guys,

I received today they approval letter. Quite a mess. I applied for a spouse visa 5 years route, and they switched to a 10 year route. They say I didn't provide an English test (which i did, Ielts) but anyway I am currently a MSc Student here in London. Anyway i should receive the BPR within 7 working days.

From all of these i realised that they never saw my application properly. Apparently they put me on hold because of the Supreme Court rule ( just found out because they wrote it on the top of the letter). We didn't have problem about the financial requirement but as soon as they saw that we had a baby just putted us on hold and that's it.

Wishing all the best for all of you,
This forum was really really helpful!

When did u apply ?

THIS IS VERY FRUSTRATING
We received our decision email and went to collect our passport but there was no decision, there was no vignette in passport and no refusal letter ,no stamp ,just the documents
The worse thing is that I am the sponsor,I live here in uk but they sent my passport with my hubby's passport to Africa,I sent two prepaid envelopes to Sheffield for my documents to return back to my uk address . I escalated this case on Friday but I have not heard anything from Sheffield.Even if it was a refusal,we still need the decision letter ?And I need my passport back .THIS IS VERY FRUSTRATING
Hi Emm if you get your documents back with a passport this is a refusal as there is no stamp in there and documents sent back with the passport is a refusal, however they should have sent a letter stating why it was a refusal I think it is best to contact home office regarding this matter.

Wifes Biometrics was on the 4/04!!
We got a reply to our follow up email saying we still considering application and asking us to provide information to escalate to the relevant department ie reason for escatlation, applicants full name, gwf, date of biometrics etc. in a list.
I dont understand why they asking us for this when they already have it. Is a response to this email necessary, and will sending an email in response speed up the application? We are on our 5th month of waiting btw. Also they ask for the reason for the Escalation!? I am confused as to what to put.

No i had never received any such type of email.but its my 2nd email 1st one was refused on 7th feb 2017 due to a minor misunderstanding of telling about number of employees in my husbands company.my husband tell about only his own branch members and his boss tell about the all members of their 2 branches.
We also appealed in april. May be due to this my application is delayed.but i dont know that appeal has any effect on 2nd application
Hi Maham,
Not clearly understand your case. Correct me if I am wrong.

From outside the UK, you can appeal and reapply simultaneously.

Appeal is also in process..21st sep is the last date for 2 parties to submit the evidenses.
Immigration judge will consider the appeal well after that date
We were thinking that appeal is a lengthy process thats why we reapply with priority service but we were not aware about the situation of supreme court ruling etc.
Although we have not received any email regarding hold or case not straightforward..
We have a british son also.his british passport was printed on 17/08/2016 when he was 11 months old
But due to my visa problem he did not travelled on his passport till now😊😊

Hi,

The online tracker still says Gwf number not recognised. Am I using the correct site and ref number. From other threads I am seeing others have received statuses like "open"
And "awaiting decision ".

can anyone shed any light on this - am I using the correct link?

The online tracker normally shows not recognized, until the decision has been made. Once the decision made it will change to 'decided'.
My friend who got visa last week used to check online tracker daily. It showed like that only.
