Husband living in uk and i am living in delhi.
Got married on 31 dec 2016
Biometrics done on 6 feb 2017
Documents send to sheffield by 15 feb 2017
Husband got call from vfs and enquired each n everything.
Got forwarded email after completing 60 days
That the decision has still not be made and they need more time.
Its been so long no update yet
Its so difficult to live without husband once u gt married.
Its been almost 6 months to our application
Life is so hard for me. :/
Can anyone please according how much more time will it take and what should i do ?
Solicitor told my husband to contact mp of your area and mp said so many cases r stuck? What to do now??

same situation as you. Does anyone know why they are exceeding the normal processing time at the moment?

Is there any court case challenge or something else?

I have the same problem and this is serious matter.
It's been 14weeks already since the day of my biometric done. They said the processing time will be exactly 60days or 12weeks but till now no message or email from them. (I pay for that so is the courier).
I am so confused and worry about this situation.
I hope I will receive my passport back with visa attached.
So then I will never mind the delayed as long as they will grant me a Visa..

But the question why they took to long?
What's the reason of the delayed?

There are members who been waiting since November 16. At this point in time anybody can only speculate why are the delays and longer processing times as nothing been officially admitted by home office or UKVI.

I think it is outrageous you have to wait this long.. but what can we do? We are limited to just waiting it out I'm afraid.
