Post by yazztech » Mon Aug 28, 2017 9:30 pm

hello gurus,

thanks after all hard work and especially with your (CR001 and Zimba88) guidance recently i got ILR thanks again guys for your guidance and time, really appreciated. well my wife is still in dependent visa will apply spouse visa for her in a couple of months.

just a quick question my baby was born in 2015 so can i apply child benefit for her ? will it effect my wife's visa or not ? just confusion.

please looking forward to hear from you .

Yes you can.

No it won't if you claim in YOUR name.

If you have ILR, you can claim. YOU are the claimant NOT the child. However you are required to send evidence of the child (birth cert and passport etc) with your CB claim as well as proof of your ILR.
