I received an email from UKVi today , saying sorry for the delay as this is peak time , and we will contact you shortly .. And it says automated message so I don't know how seriously should I take this email

They never said anything about case not straightforward or anything and asked me to wait for a decision

This email might be automated but it is intentionally sent to you, at your designated email address. It clearly indicates that your case is very near to be decided. I strongly hope you will get your decision in coming week.

Yeah. Hope for the best. I have known 7 students so far within my social and educational circle. They all suffered delays but all of them got visas. So visa grant score is 100% within my friends. I hope we all will get the visas provided the documents are submitted as per UKVI guidelines.

My other 2 friends returning same like mine also got decision yesterday but tbh i don't trust them over call until I see decided myself and that system is down

Na if they said decision is made thn it's done , I applied 3 weeks later thn urs so I'm Hoping maybe coming week .. But the important thing is a positive decision so let's all pray for that ..

Hey everyone
I have just received an email that case is not straight forward as it would take time.I read on forums if this comes ECO calls for second interview.Is it for sure he calls for second interview as I already gave interview when filing visa at 20 June.
I am a returning UK Student .Immigration history is clear no issues.
Completed level 4-5-6 and 7 and now going for MBA.Have completed all the given diplomas on time and returned to Pakistan in march before visa expired to extend it for september intake.Can anyone give any advise please.

Acknowledgement received 28 June
Second Email Unfortunately 3 July.

I have been following your post for a while now Because I am a returning student too as well. I'm switching from a tier 1 graduate entrepreneur visa to a tier 4. Meanwhile I have been asked to submit a TB certificate just like you even if I don't need it as I only came back July from the UK
My application is on the 18th working day having called for escalation last week.
I'm aware you have your decision mail. Please kindly update me on the outcome of your application

Yep. 13th July and without a call for a second interview or an email stating that the application was not straightforward.
