URGENT: Tier 2 Visa Over but can I do Freelance work?

Hello guys

My Visa is expiring in a few weeks and looks like I will have to go back to India.

However, I have a client who I do some part time work for on PAYE basis.

Once my visa expires, can I continue working for the client on a freelance basis (not PAYE). Can he make payments directly to my UK bank account? I can then move this money to my India account.

Your help would be appreciated guys.

Are you asking if you can overstay your visa, or are you considering continuing to carry out work for your client from your home country.

Yes, it's the same firm. Some contracts fell through and the employer had to withdraw my full time role.

I was hoping to carry on working as a freelancer from India. He could pay the money into my UK Bank account here and I could move that money to India. Is this possible?

Don't want him to get into trouble for paying someone who is overseas?

u cant stay in the uk beyond your visa end date.
I dont see any reason why u cant do any work for him after you have left. SHould be fine.

The company that was sponsoring my Tier 2 VISA (the main full time job) will have notified the home office on Friday that I no longer work for them. I haven’t received any letter about my leave curtailment yet but until I get my leave curtailment letter, can I continue doing this part time job or no?

No you are not permitted to do any form of employment now as you have left your sponsoring employment.

Visa expires in 2020 but leave curtailment date will be within 60 days of the letter received from the home office.

Correct yes re curtailment, but you still cannot work.
