This is new stupidity home office intruduced u won't blieve me application came back invalid home office said my ex need to sign sponsor declaration which sign on sponsor section in application form.

How can I take sign from my ex if I m divorced with her.

Did u appeal? I am on a see now legal advice and I ll see what to do. Maybe I am gonna appeal myself and gonna talk to judge in person, really frustrated... at least ask me send me letter that u need this document and I ll answer what I can do what situation I am in... not refuse straight away...

No my application was rejected not refused in rejected applications you can't appeal so I applied again one month ago still didn't hear anything my advise to you go to a solicitor who very good who can tell the judge about rules because new rule after feb 2017 days case worker must issue a visa if applicant satisfy the case that he or she can't get in touch with there ex.

Home office gave option to resubmit application if I can provide my ex sponsor ID... I ll see solicitor first and that last thing in the world is to contact my ex and ask her anything...
On refusal letter says my application is considered under the rule regulations 2016

I just called home office and they said that there is no need to send passport or any indentity of ex wife if you applying retain rights after divorce..she said just send a letter to check refusal reason again then we will contact you within some week

Yes they give but i heard that it took long time......so my solicitr will send them a reconsidration notice bcoz there is no need to send ex partner passport..

But they hardly reply to reconsideration I had the similar problem I applied for pr and they refused bcz of ex id. Did your solicitor send reconsideration?

Yes he sent for reconsidration.....and he says about 500 fee for it..... how long it took for replying them for reconsidration notice....


And can you link me a ur eea pr refused thread

You didn't mention in your cover letter you're divorce also in sponsor section it says you can't get hold of your sponsor did you tick that box ? It's crazy to send your application back.

Reconsideration have no time limit but sometime they reply in 3 months time you can't do appeal and reconsideration at same time.

Reconsideration have no time limit but sometime they reply in 3 months time you can't do appeal and reconsideration at same time.

Means i can make requst for reconsidration even i hv right of appeal ...
Like they just refused bcoz of i did not provide passport of my ex wife....and when i called home office then they said there is no need to send passport if u apply as divorce retain rights ...what u think they can approve mybretain right in reconsidration requst and while they reviewing my application again ..can i requst for COA again bcoz need to give at my work

Can I travel outside uk if my application for retain rights is in home office I got visa till 2019.
