HI, I'm still awaitng a response since July 2017.
Mine was 'under review' status at July and August. I assume my point is over 200(Shortage occupation-130, oil & gas Elec Engineer, Salary - 60, RLMT - 20)
After 2 times allocation, my sponsor has requested Premium Customer Service, still working on this.
Still havent got anything, no more information but 'Under review'.
In other guys' experiences, HO normally asks the sponsor to amend some informations if it is wrong, or not enough. However, Mine hasnt been asked, no comments.
Hi cant believe it, mine application is under Shortage Occupation category as well. Have you talked with your employee? Have they experience the same issue before?

Anyone else got their RCoS approval? My new employee has sent out my application on 4th Sept. Wondering if anyone is the same situation and still waiting?

I think we are at the same page. My application status is still 'Under review' in SMS. I don't know more than this. Let's hope and see. It's up to 5 working days.

Still Waiting since early August too. We were pushed to the next allocation date as we just missed it. No word yet. Is Friday, 15th September the last day for them to hand them out? Is there even a deadline for them to? Good luck everyone.

@akkhan a restricted certificate of sponsorship is for a migrant from overseas applying to live and work in the UK under a tier 2 visa. I was in the UK on a tier 5 youth mobility and as it cannot be extended I had to start fresh, meaning I had to go back to my home country to apply for a new visa. From what I have learned, correct me if I'm wrong
, an unrestricted certificate is needed for those in the UK. It's been confusing for me too where we didn't originally apply for the RCoS as we didn't know it existed! Lol...

thank you for your reply my understanding is the same as yours but when I read this thread I got confused as people are already in uk and waiting for RCOS which confused me as RCOS is for outside the country. hope other members reply who are applying within uk and waiting for RCOS to clear this.

If you are currently on tier 2 visa and changing your employer and applying inside UK, you need restricted COS.

Does anybody get approval of RCoS since yesterday? It seems September allocation would be anounced on the web-site within today. After announcement without a contact from HO it's over for this month.
I can't believe my status is still 'Under review' for 3 months.(July, August, September ocassion)

@hogeun.
Did your employer call or email home office and what did home office say?

@wako
They didn't say much. they just confirmed still in consideration(Under Review)
My employer has requested Premium customer service which is a large fee. It took 3 weeks for only making payment. Confirmation from HO is needed but not yet.
If september session published in web-site, my employer would get help from HO account manager dedicated to my employer, even so, I have to wait and see October session again.

@Wako,
I hope too. I want to see differerent status even though it's refusal.
Then I can amend or put more infos. Nothing changes in my application during 3 times.
My employer said they haven't experinenced this situation even I could see many stories similar to mine in this board.

Thanks for responding but according to tier 2 guidance even if you're switching sponsors within uk you need unrestricted cos. You only need RCos if you're outside uk or you're tier 4 dependents. Confused...

Hi all, I received my RCOS on 6th Sept. My employer told that he applied on 5th Sept and some work flow to release COS have recently changed. I was surprised to get the COS in a single day.
Thanks

I thought to share this with all so it can help anyone. So if any of you waiting for rcos can get unrestricted if they are in country or switching employers

Hi everyone, my employer has applied for RCOS on August 30 and HO asked for more documents and documents were submitted on Sep 8. In SMS system status shows 'Under Review'. Is there any hope for september month allocation ? Whats the contact number I can call and ask what is going on? Please share if anyone knows. I have already applied for tier 2 general visa from India and got rejected as the type of COS given to me by employer was wrong. Now am at India waiting for RCOS to apply visa again. I really want to know whether they are giving us this month or its going to take more time. Is there any way for us to find this out?Please share your thoughts.
I was at UK for last 6 years with different visa - ICT and general dependent. I have rent house and all my personal things at London and me waiting for RCOS at India. I have to make arrangements there depends on this RCOS.
Please advise
Thanks in advance
