Question about translation of documents and evidence

Hi and thanks for this forum,

I'm applying for Visa tier 2 General and I've been collecting required evidence for my dependents, the doubt I have is about the translations, I'm from Chile, then our native language is Spanish, in order to translate documents is required to use an official translator or can be any translator with similar experience?

Manoj how do you translate your documents? did you work with an official translator?

Here in Chile the government can translate documents but it's obviously more slow and expensive than a private one.

Reading the info in that link seems that isn't required an official/registered translator:

If you need to certify a translation of a document that’s not written in English or Welsh, ask the translation company to confirm in writing on the translation:

-that it’s a true and accurate translation of the original document
-the date of the translation
-the full name and contact details of the translator or a representative of the translation company

In India it is very easy to do it via the solicitor / notary.
How about this (teacher or lecturer)? It is from the same link.

To certify documents, ask a professional person or someone well-respected in your community (‘of good standing’) like a:

bank or building society official
councillor
minister of religion
dentist
chartered accountant
solicitor or notary
teacher or lecturer
The person you ask shouldn’t be:

related to you
living at the same address
in a relationship with you
Certifying a translation
If you need to certify a translation of a document that’s not written in English or Welsh, ask the translation company to confirm in writing on the translation:
