Those who have got a decision made and dispatched mail can go to Blue dart website, enter your GWF number and track your passport arrival. Can be helpful for anyone who has opted for courier service.

Please use the Ref. No option on the page
And what reference number shall we put in? Is it GWF, Payment reference or passport number?
Like i mentioned, GWF number

GUYS PLS ANSWER THIS. When is the end date of 28 days rule bank statement? Is it the application online day or the appointment day?
Date of application

Please be clear. Date or application = when you applied online and done all payment and book appointment

Or

The day of the appointment when u take biometric and submit docs???

The day of biometrics = Date of application.
Because thats when you submit your document.

Hello everyone!
I've been following the thread for a couple of days now. Here's my timeline. Please help me guys im extremely confused n worried.

I applied for Priority visa from Hyderabad, India. Opted Chennai, India as the consulate.
Sept 12th : VFS centre. They took documents. Visa interview conducted.
Sept 19th : No emails since visa interview. Not even confirmation that my documents have been forwarded, under review, etc. Nothing at all.

Went to VFS centre today to check the status since i did not get any email from UKVI. They checked on their system and told me that my documents are at the embassy in Chennai. I asked them whats the status? Like are they under review or haven't been reviewed at all? Unfortunately all they said was docs are at the embassy. Then i asked why im not getting any emails or sms? They told it happens and is not necessary that everyone gets updates (don't know how true this is).

My enrolment date is 25th sept and it looks like ill not be able to reach on time. Im gonna ask for extension but after looking at this thread I'm losing hope that ill get all my docs along with visa on time i.e, atleast before 2nd Oct which is my course start date.

Can anybody please help me with this. I don't know what to do next. Im absolutely clueless.
HELP guys pls!!!

email UKVI. they will atleast be able to tell you if the application has been received. next, email uni after a few days and ask them if the CAS has been used by UKVI. this will give you some idea.

Hey thanks for the reply man.
Does emailing them cost anything? I heard if we want to get in touch with UKVI either through call or email, there are some charges for it. Im gonna email them anyway though.

I can see people with similar cases to me in this forum but whats worrying me the most is why i did not recieve a single email after my appointement? I dont think this has happened to anyone. I did opt for sms n email alerts at the VFS but still nothing. Im completely in the dark here.

Also apart from the CAS status, in what ways can the uni help?

Guys finally im getting my visa tomorrow!
Applied for REGULAR visa tier 4. I have a immigration history. Was refused by the ukvi in 2016 because they didn't believe i was my father's daughter

Bio, scan, give documents(didn't do an interview): 27 juli
8 agustus: email from ukvi, visa received
18 agustus: email from ukvi, visa under consideration
13 sept: email from ukvi, visa not straightforward
14 sept: called ukvi visa is still awaiting a decision. asked them to mark my case as urgent (called at 10 am uk time the lady has a british accent, very kind)
15 sept: suddenly called from the home office for interview (around 30 minutes)
18 sept: emailed gov.uk. complained a lot.
19 sept: got an from gov.uk email like this:
"Dear Ms. xxxx,

xxxxx contacted me earlier today regarding your concerns over your Tier 4 Visa application. My apologies for the delay you have faced.

I have contacted our visa hub in Manila and they can confirm that your application has been concluded and the passport should be ready for collection from VFS on the 20/09. VFS will contact you directly when the passport has arrived and is ready to collect.

My apologies again for the delay and best of luck with your studies in the UK."

What did i do while waiting the visa delay? I keep tweeting the uk embassy in my country, they helped a lot. asked for my gwf number and they marked it as urgent. My university helped a lot. I think it was them that contacted the home office so i got an interview. Fingers crossed! I hope my visa is granted tomorrow! wish me luck!
