FLR (M) few queries - Plz help

Post by samar0001 » Sun Dec 04, 2016 5:21 pm

Hi Guys,

Thanks a lot for all the members of the group for contributing on this forum, It has helped us a lot in preparing for our visa's.

I have few queries, it would be great if someone can help us

I am British Citizen, My wife been here is UK on Spouse Visa her visa is going to expired in Dec 2017

English Language:
She need to get A2 Level, what is the validity of this certificate once issued, I can't find it anywhere.

Indian Passport Expiry:
Her visa is going to expire in Dec 2017,
1)So can we renewal it in Apr 2017
2) Once we received new passport, can we travel with old passport (visa on old passport) and with new passport (no visa on it),
3) can we keep visa on old passport until we go for renewal.

Cohabitation documents:
We moved the house during her stay in UK

1) first year we maintained 4 X joint accounts 2 X of each
2) there was a gap of 3 months where we don't have the full set as above
3) now, we plan to maintain 2 X joint names and 4 X of each

Any concerns with the above sets or the gap of 3 months

Thanks a lot for your help guys.

dates of the items of correspondence should be spread evenly

Post by samar0001 » Wed Dec 07, 2016 7:47 pm

Hi Guys,

FLR(M) extension:
The dates of the items of correspondence should be spread evenly over the whole 2 years?
What does the evenly mean here - is it in every 4 months.

It is not necessary to start a new topic with each question you have on the same application. Please keep ALL your questions in one place (this topic).

It means roughly documents for every 3 or 4 months.

1) IELTS life skills A2 is valid for 2 years

2) applying in april is too early if visa is expiring in December as they recommend to apply within 28 days of your current visa expiring

3) no issue in travelling if you have valid uk visa as well as valid passport whther old or new

4) there are many others documents to prove cohabitation i.e documents from NHS/doctor , bills and every others documents which prove that you boht lived under same roof with same address

One application, wife as main applicant and children as dependents.

Top of page 4 states :
Who May Apply With You?
Your children under the age of 18 if they are applying as your dependants.

You can apply online or use the paper form.

A simple Google search would have given you the link.

Hi Guys,

How do we calculate 5 years for ILR,

Visa issued on 07 Mar 2015
Entered UK on 07 May 2015
Visa Expiry on 09 Dec 2017
Applying on 20 Nov 2017 -premium service
If she get visa on same day, she have stayed in country for 2 years 6 months 13 days

Do we know how long the visa will be issued this extension?
Will we make it 5 years for ILR or do we need to apply another extension?

Thanks for your help

How do we calculate 5 years for ILR,
Visa issued on 07 Mar 2015
Entered UK on 07 May 2015
Visa Expiry on 09 Dec 2017
Counted from date of entry to the UK.
Applying on 20 Nov 2017 -premium service
If she get visa on same day, she have stayed in country for 2 years 6 months 13 days
Do we know how long the visa will be issued this extension?
She will get a visa valid for 2.5 years.
Will we make it 5 years for ILR or do we need to apply another extension?
She will qualify for ILR no sooner than within 28 days before 7th March 2019.

From the date visa is granted and NOT tagged onto or following on from the end of her current visa.

Thanks a lot CR001, It helps a lot.

So basically entering on 07 may 2017, I lost 2 months, But still my wife will be eligible for ILR don't need to extend another extension
as she got the visa 5 years 3 months (33 months+ 30 months)

Do Holidays have any impact, As she been away for 2 months in a go this year.

Correct. She can apply within 28 days before reaching the full 5 years residence from date of entry.

Hi Guys,

In which case do we need to prove house is not over crowded, We are applying with 4 kids, and i am following below instructions, which is good enough for me, Do i need to show any docs for this.

NO OF ROOMS ..... PERMITTED NO OF PERSONS
.......... 1 ................................. 2
.......... 2 ................................. 3
.......... 3 ................................. 5
.......... 4 ................................. 7.5
.......... 5 ............................... 10

with an additional 2 persons for each room in excess of 5.
A child under the age of one does not count as a person. A child aged 1 - 10 years will count as only half a person.

Hello,

I had a query regarding the financial aspect. I'm a director of my own limited company and used to pay myself the standard £10k / yr salary until 6 months ago when I increased my pay to £20k for visa purposes. My question is, can I just fill the salaried part of the form showing my last 6 payslips and bank statements or do I have to show any company documents as well? Also, my wife is employed in my company as well and she gets paid the standard £10k/yr. Should we declare her pay as well just do we are well past the minimum threshold? I think the combined income gets counted dosent it?

Thanks guys

HI,

Just had same situation situation and my wife got FLRM visa on same day service. If you are company director you have to submit all following documents.

https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... _Final.pdf.

Read page 58 as you have to meet director criteria as you will not be consider as salaried person.

Thanks

Also, yes combine income is acceptable.

but you have have to show the same payslips like your company year end. for example if your company year end was April to April then you cannot show pay slips for the month of may, june, july, August, September.
