14 days grace period for Visa Extension

Hi

If anyone can advise what is current policy for renewal of work visa , As i need this information for a person on domestic work visa from last 7 years, unable to apply for ILR due english test. His visa is expiring in few days time. His employer is out of country as need to send his passport as well with the application.

He will come back but after few days of expiry of his visa.

There is no grace period he must apply before current visa expires.

He/she does not need to send original passport of employer to home office for visa renewal.copy of employer passport and other supporting documents are sufficient for visa renewal. He/she must send visa application before the expiry date.
