Russian speaking immigration advisor / solicitor

hi all,

I need ur help once again!!!

I know a Ukranian man who needs an immigration advice immediately.

His english language are not very good. He finds it difficult to explain his situation in English.

Do anybody know any immigration advisor or solicitor who can speak Russian?

There was a legal firm in Potters Bar around 1997-1998 specialising in immigration and the head was Russia-born UK-qualified immigration solicitor. Tried to google it could not find it now.

There was also someone called xxxxxxxxx in London but again cannot find it now on the Net. He was practising around 2000 but not sure if he is still there. He was however, very arrogant and money-minded.

Suggest you approach the Law Society and see if they could help. I am sure they have the list of all the solicitors in the UK specialising in Immigration Law.

Also the forum xxxxxxxxx may be quite helpful. Perhaps he could go through FAQs, register and tell the forumers about his story. They may be able to advise him where to go to.

I have used xxxxxxxx in Greenwich for all my applications (including ILR last January) and have nothing but good things to say about them in general, and in particular one of their staff, xxxxxxxxxxxx who speaks fluent Russian. I hope he is still there (I have not had contact with him since our HSMP extension application a year ago) but their contact details are:

We have a number of Russian-speaking immigration consultants and lawyers. Several of them speak Russian natively and English is their second or third language.

Not trying to be funny, but if your friend's English is so bad that he cannot explain his situation in English, how is he going to qualify to come to the UK when they start enforcing the English language requirements?
