Tier 4 to Tier 2 (in country)

Post by ryan000278 » Tue Sep 26, 2017 2:20 pm

Hi,

I am currently on Tier 4 student visa valid till 30th Jan 2018. My Master's course got over on 20th Sep 2017.

If I apply for Tier 2 unrestricted visa and incase it gets rejected, does UKVI would curtail my stay as my course is over?

Fixed Penalty Notice Declaration

Post by aapjita » Tue Sep 26, 2017 2:35 pm

Hi,
I am applying for Tier2 visa (in country). I have a Fixed Penalty Notice issued by Great Western Railway (travelling without ticket). I have paid it on spot and they have closed my case.
Do I need to declare it in my visa application ?
I have checked with Railway team and they said they do not share this information with anyone.

Please advise.

Previous Visa Refusal declarartion

Post by rajrahul32001 » Tue Sep 26, 2017 2:57 pm

Hi,

I am on Tier 4 visa and changing to Tier 2 general visa(in country) through SAME DAY service.

My spouse had applied as Tier 4 dependant last year and her visa was rejected (incountry) and then she applied out of country and was granted Tier 4 dependent visa.
I have a query, when I am filling the application form for Tier 2 dependent, there is no place to declare previous visa refusals. Can you please let me know if I need to declare it. If yes, how?

Please advise.

Why have you registered 3 usernames to ask questions?

Hi,

Apologies,I had 3 different queries and did not want to confuse you. That is the reason I posted it under 3 different user. Probably its been silly of me.

Appreciate if you could kindly advise me on the queries.

It won't 'confuse' people.

Kindly advise which username you wish to keep before I ban all three listed to your IP address.

Perhaps also read the forum rules.

I will advise you still declare it and explain that you paid on the spot. About a year ago or so, some had a similar case and did not declare it. his application was refused.
I guess it will fall under civil penalty. I might be wrong here but one thing I'm sure about is that it is better to declare it

Hi,

For the FPN, should I declare it on a separate cover letter or should I put it under Q1 or Q2 ? Please advise

1 HAVE YOU RECEIVED ANY OTHER PENALTY IN
RELATION TO A CRIMINAL OFFENCE; FOR EXAMPLE A
CAUTION, REPRIMAND, WARNING, OR SIMILAR
PENALTIES IN THE UK OR ANY OTHER COUNTRY?

2 HAVE YOU HAD ANY UK COURT JUDGEMENT AGAINST
YOU FOR NON-PAYMENT OF A DEBT, OR RECEIVED A
CIVIL PENALTY UNDER UK IMMIGRATION ACTS?
