I applied in April 2017 prioriry and received not straightfoeward and hold emails in May

Suddenly in August they requested for additional documents and sent all that within 10days.

Haven't received any mail after that.

I keep calling the call center and ask for eacalation but i think thats complete waste of time and money☹️!

Hi, im really worried i wonder if someone can help me...

All my 6 months payslips they all add upto more than £18,600, but what my problem is that on my p60 and hmrc letter it shows less than £18,600 for the tax year, would this refuse my visa ? Or isit ok as my 6 months payslips add up to more than £18,600.

Hi ish21
It's totally fine. You don't need to worry about it.
My friend who applied in may 2017 got his visa last month.
he joined for a job 6 months prior to the application date only. He never worked before.
So his p60 also same like yours . It's around 9600£.

Hi there,

Is anyone who applied in late 2016 or early 2017 still waiting for a decision?

I applied for a spouse settlement visa in Dec 2016 and still waiting for a decision, so would like to know who else is waiting from this time period.

Thanks and God Bless everyone

That is a mighty long time, hope you get decision soon. Why is it taking so long? I heard that having kids can complicate stuff.
Have a change status for decision, 20 September, yesterday have letter, visa granted for 30 months.
Good look everyone!!!

A miracle has happened!! just received below email from UKVI, without even contacting them.

Dear Sir/Madam,
Thank you for applying for a UK visa.

Due to it being our busiest period, I am afraid we are unable to make a decision on your application within our usual timescale. We aim to make a decision on your application before 31 October. If for any reason we are unable to do so, we will write to you to update.

Staff at the visa application centres or contact centres have no influence on cases and cannot provide any further advice so we recommend you do not attend or call the contact centre. Please do not go to the Visa Application Centre until you have received written confirmation that a decision has been made on your application and that your passport is ready to be collected.

We understand this will be frustrating to you and regret any inconvenience caused.

We will contact you shortly to update you on what is happening

Thank you for your understanding.

Kind Regards,

UK Decision Making Centre
We too recieved this email. Been 29 weeks since biometrics. (We haven't had the 'on hold' or 'not straight forward' emails).
We applied standard application, from Mirpur.

Still waiting for a decision.....

Post by bozamin » Wed Sep 27, 2017 1:36 am

HI everyone

I want to share my successful experiance with everyone meybe it could

previously overstayer on vistor visa but i voluntary returned after the issued me removal notice. RED.001

- i applied 29/06/2017 tls contact tunisia ( spouce visa )
- Document Sent to sheffiled 7/7/2017
- i sent batch of emails to UKVI but they always reply with generic email and always tell me the same things.
- Decision made 19/09/2017 ( exactly 58 Working days )
- Passport Collected ( 25/09/2017 ) Visa grented

I strongly adivse anyone who Applaying as family or spouce visa to go throw the immigration Rules Under the follwing :

APPENDIX FM
APPEDIX FM-SE
PART 9 GROUNDs FOR REFUSAL

Or ask for immigration lawyer help . as the way haw you prapare you supporting docment can have effect on the processing time and the decision aswell

Which all good luck with this hard period and advise everyone to be patient and never lose faith.
