Travel to UK after Having a Tier 2 Visa That was Curtailed

My Tier 2 Visa was curtailed. I understand there is a 12 month cooling off period if no other sponsor is found. I am looking to work for an employer that has office in NYC and London and in this case, my home base would be NYC. Since I would no longer be on a tier 2 I would be home based in NYC and live/work in NYC but would travel to London from time to time.

My question is, during the 12 month cooling off stage am I still allowed to travel to London (for work and/or pleasure) with NYC as my home base for home and work. What are the rules around traveling to London after curtailment

What would be the nature of the 'work' in the UK?

IMO, if you are not getting paid in UK and only coming to attend meeting etc, u should be fine.

That's what I was getting at, one of our US colleagues when I last worked in UK (eventually) got collared, due to actually performing productive work on visa waiver which would need a work permit.

Meetings, presentations etc all fine, but not actually 'doing stuff'...
