Question: My immigration agent posted out application in late feb for both my initial HSMP and FLR, they posted out FLR first and HSMP later.

Fees have been deducted for both.

I got my reference number 1 wk ago, but only a number allocated to FLR, NO number for the initial HSMP?????????????????????

Thanks!
Hi Dejavu,
Quite strange situation..
Did u ask your immigration lawyer about this?

Also who gave you FLR reference no?

Is it mandatory that someone should be there to sign and recieve the docs?

Hi Pardass,

Yes someone shud be there to sign the documents but also depends how did u ask them to deliver the docs..
Did u provide any prepaid envelope????
Thanks,

i haven't provided any envelope so it should be the default delivery but i am afraid what will happen if i am not there at the time of delivery,

Regards

Hi Pardass,
If you will not be at home they will leave a while you out card, whch means u can collect your paper from nearest post office.

I think you can also send an email to HO for courier pickup.
Just call 0114 207 4074 option 4 & 2 and ask the procedure coz that will be rock solid.

Regards
Thanks mate, Really informative

Congrats to all that have got their extensions.

Do we still have those who submitted their applications IN feb, say 4 weeks ago, that are yet to get response from HO?

I am waiting for a response from HO.....................

Post by reliable-mate » Sun Mar 16, 2008 2:52 pm

Hi ATBPLC,

My timeline for 2nd extension under 1+3+3 HSMP scheme:

Current Status: Awaiting response
Application sent: 23rd Feb 08
Payment deducted: 27th Feb 08
Response from HO: In the 1st/2nd week of Mar confirming payment and other blah blah blah about their service levels

On their website, they claim a great surge in the number of applications and have also stopped their urgent processing service (looks like every Tom, Dick and Harry has been applying for urgent processing to clog the system up); so, I would count myself lucky if I get a response back from HO by the end of Mar.

To be honest, I am not overly concerned (as Home Office has not let me down in the past) although a timely extension would be of great help in sorting a good re-mortgage rate.

I tried calling on 0114 207 4074 and got same repeated reply on option 4 & 1 that applications posted after 20th Feb are under consideration. Is there anyone who got his/her extenation approval of application sent after 25th or 26th.
