We are still waiting from the 6th June, biometrics was completed that day and applications scanned and sent to Sheffield with priority fee paid for spouse/settlement visa, we have escalated once, received the 31st October email, and received the not straightforward email twice now once back in july, and now one yesterday which had this info, seems anyone who had children to pay for and did not pay (due to their system error) may have this issue and their applications would have been held up.

Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS) payment needed

On 6 April 2015, the UK Government introduced a Health Surcharge payment requirement for non-EEA nationals who apply to come to the UK to work, study or join family for a period of more than 6 months. The consideration of your visa application has been deferred because you have not made that payment.

What you need to do next:

You must make the payment by visiting: (direct url link for our children)

Unfortunately there is a bug with the IHS Portal where children appear to be exempt from the IHS payment. This is not correct. We are working to resolve this issue.
The application has been amended for the IHS payment request. The Visa type will appear as ‘Settlement - Parent, Grandparent or Other Dependant Relative’, this is the only way we can continue the process until the bug is fixed.

Please note that if the full payment is not made by 5th October 2017 then your application will be refused. If this is the only reason for refusing your application, you will have to make a new visa application and your visa fees will not be refunded.

To prevent any further delays with processing your application, once you have made this payment please send an e-mail to ihs.sheffield@fco.gsi.gov.uk containing your name, GWF reference, IHS reference and the amount that you have paid for IHS.
I also got another email today after paying these IHS last night for my children for my husbands application saying:
The processed visa application for GWF reference number - ....... was received at the UK Visa Application Centre on 9/29/2017 .
If a courier service was purchased from VFS Global, your processed application will be delivered to the chosen address.
If not, your documents can be collected during the designated passport collection times.
Please note this is an auto generated e-mail. Please do NOT reply to this email.

I am hoping its good news as why make me pay last night if a decision had been made to decline...
hi where you got this info.did you got email from HO
and how did you pay ihs fee now

UPDATE!!

My timeline :
Application - wife (spouse settlement) priority
Office processing visa - Riyadh, KSA
Submitted online - 13th Aug 2017
Biometrics and supporting docs submitted - 24th Aug 2017
Documents received email - 27th Aug 2017
Application concluded email - 1st Oct 2017
Collection made - Awaiting

So far in total 27 working days - fortunate it has been this quick but at the same time very circumspect it might be refused.

I’m a nervous mess at the moment !!
Have been separated from significant other 3.5 years and have only met for a fortnight each year!

Keep me in your prayers please

We submitted online app on 4th May 2017 and biometrics on 9th May as priority service. We chased them via telephone and email numerous times and were told "awaiting decision." Never received on hold or not straight forward email but on 27th August they told us there had been an error and we were in standard queue not priority. We provided receipt of priority paid and they say mistake had been rectified and we were made priority. We haven't received anything other than 31st October email. It's very unfortunate that this has happened. Pray everyone gets their visas soon
Make sure you CLAIM your priorty fees once case completed. they are playing with peoples money and emotions

Seems a lot of decisions are now coming.

There should be a lot more now it's October.

Some are still waiting from Last November 2016 so I'm hoping they get decisions sooner.

Stay faithful in Jesus Christ name and it will come.

FYI I'm aware of several people who applied from Mirpur Pakistan who were granted visas within 3 months. I also know of one person who applied in May 2017 and paid priority and is still waiting. So if you have recently applied and you are reading this, don't think that you will definitely have to wait months and months. You may receive the visa around the twelve week point. Hopefully the Home Office will clear all the backlog of cases by the end of October and they will maintain 12 weeks responses for all after this.

So just called the contact center today, still no update! the usual response 'Awaiting a decision with ECO' and case has now been escalated!

Hope we all hear back very soon!....short timeline below

Biometrics - 3/7/17
Additional documents requested - 18/9/17 (docs sent on 20/9/17)
Case not straight forward email - 18/9/17....No clear reason for it to be not straightforward except for the additional document requested
Update email - 25/9/17 - same as everyone that aim to make a decision by 31st of Oct
Called for update on 2/10/17 - Awaiting decision and case escalated

Posted about this a while ago in this group, they asked for the correct IELTS for UKVI as I had submitted an IELTS academic along with a UK NARIC equivalence. I pointed to them that they should consider the UK NARIC equivalence certificates instead.

Hi

Just received my documents back and realised my solicitor did not certify my passport as sponsor to the applicant. I am really worried now. Can anyone let me know if they are aware of a visa being approved where the sponsor's passport has not been certified????

Case escalated doesn't mean anything, calling to call center is a negative thing because they specifically told you not to call. Don't call again.

Phew.

There was no letter in my documents which, according to my solicitor means that the visa has been approved. I hope so.

Date documents forward to UKVI: 13 July 2017
Acknowledgement eMail: 13 July 2017
