Called HO - updates

Guyz,

I have also called just now and asked them about the update but they strictly refused to give information about my application.

And also said, 'with current time lines it is taking 5 weeks to assign to case workers'

So what I think is it has slow down a bit now...may be the current time line is around 40 days.

My app info: sent 9th feb, received 11th feb, ref no. and fees done on 13th feb.

All, PLEASE SHARE AS MUCH INFORMATION YOU KNOW.

I received my papers today and its been approved. Thank God.

here is my timeline
Sent 9th feb
received 11th ffeb
Fess and ref no recived 13 th feb
decision made 12th March
Papers received 18th march

Hi Bhavyaanil/Enable,

Did you receive any email from HO once the HSMP was approved or you got the documents directly with the approval letter.

I always think of ur case and thought that urs or mine will be next.

Do you know any forum abt the FLR for HSMP approval before 29th feb. I spoke to home office they said i will have to apply the with tire 1 form. But tire 1 has got all the field’s related initial HSMP approval. Not sure how do I proceed with FLR.

I got the letter directly. I never send any mail to HO

Hope you have applied from INDIA. Can you please let us know the CITY from you applied.

My application received by HO on 14th and fee deducted on 14th Feb.

Expecting this week.

Is it normal post ?

They told me that my application is in the batch of 20/2 applications as that is when payment was deducted.

Ref no. on 20th Feb 2008 :2510XX
Approval Date : TBC - still waiting.

Fingers crossed hardcore!

Geee that last dude got approved quickly....how did you manage that?

Hi Lakshman,
I applied from Bangalore,India. Its Royal Air mail. It will take app 4-5days to reach the destination from UK.(atleat India)

Hi Guys

Application recieved by HO on 13/02/2008 same the amount has been deducted from my credit card. Today i called HO they said considering application of 14 feb 2008 so that mean decision has been made on my application or not? I also sent a letter for arranging a courier but i have not received any information from HO regarding document collection, any one comment on that.

Applied on 10th Feb. Cheque for the fees encashed on 14th Feb. No acknowledgment provided.

HSMP approved on 18th March. Got the documents back on 19th March.

Hi All,

I have applied on Feb 1st and the Fee debited on Feb6th. This is my second application as the first is rejected. Till now no info. I am from India.

Is it the second application will take more time?

I have seen some option, that we can opt for our courier to collect after the decission is taken. But i havent mentioned anything in the application.

Can i change it now by calling the HO. If i can, can you tell me which courier is doing this service. I have checked with DHL India. But they are not offering.

Advise please.

I applied from UK by Special delivery on 24-02-08
My Debit card was charged on 27-02-08

I didn't recieve any mail regarding reference number. But by the posts i saw, it is a 4 digit number preceeeded by 2 letters. Which i believe, is what i saw in my Bank transaction as ** 4616

Still waiting response... :cry:

Please let me know, whether my assumption regarding Ref No. is correct
and , if i should call the HO and enquire about the same.
