tier 2 extension query

Hi everyone
I just need some urgent advice about my tier 2 extension. A little background on my current status initial i switch from PSW TIER1 to Tier 2 general( new entrant )in aug 2014 and received three years visa. My job title Accounts manager SOC 3538, with 21k initally salary based on 35hrs per week. My current tier 2visa is about to expire on 10th Sep 2017 and my employer is willing to issue new Cos for another three years. I M just not sure on couple of thjngs..... firstly what should be the appropriate salary ......currently I receive £ 25,650 per annum based on 35 hrs per week. As per home office guidelines experience salary is applicable for my extension currently £ 27k (Accounts manager 3538) based on 39hrs per week. I am not sure whether my current salary is appropriate for my extension. And secondly my Employer is not sure which tier 2 type category will applicable for my extension as there are couple of options ISCliable or ISC exempt (immigration skill charge). Can senior member please advice which option is applicable in my case and about appropriate salary.

I've read in tier 2 Guidance latest version 04/17.

It states if you apply for Tier 2 extension or change employer
And you initial Cos was assigned before 24/11/16
Than the salary should be £20,800 or the appropriate rate for the job, whichever is higher.

From my knowledge, that section only applies to people who already have a visa, allowing them to carry on - I know it doesn't make sense and so vague. I'm going through the extension and HR lawyer told me it has to be over 30k

I've just received my tier 2 extension visa for another three years.

ISC EXEMPT.

HOPE OTHERS APPLYING FOR EXTENSION MAY GET SOME GUIDANCE.

In the guidance point 63 it actually is mentioned that 50 points has to be scored 30 for correct COS and 20 for appropriate Salary, now look at the table in point 88 in 5th row it says

"If you are applying for an extension or a
change of employment application and
your initial grant of leave was granted on
the basis of a CoS assigned before 24
November 2016
£20,800 or the appropriate rate for the job,
whichever is the higher"

If for a SOC experienced rate is set as say 27000, i don't think that it should meet 30K criteria. Just a thought, if senior member can please put this in a better way.

Also 7th row say that zero points will be awarded if salary is below 30K and none of the above from the table applies.

Omar, please could you confirm if you are below or above 26? This could make a difference what appropriate salary is required for T2 extension.
