There has been lots of decisions last week hoping more this week. Currently July applicants are approaching 60 working days so keep an eye out on emails or call for status checks if your currently on 50-60 working days of biometrics taken.

Today I got this email. I didn't send any enquiry or call to ho. They just send I don't what is meaning to send this email. After 31oct email. Don't need for it. We just need decision which they not giving just sending cheap emails.

Thank you for your enquiry regarding your UK visa application.

We wrote to you regarding your application being put on hold following a Supreme Court judgment on Wednesday 22 February 2017, when the Home Office has paused decision-making on some settlement applications - in particular, those failing to meet the minimum income threshold for British Citizens and other settled persons sponsoring visa applications, or where children are involved. The reason for this pause is to enable the Home Office to consider the implications of the judgement.

We are pleased to inform you that cases are no longer being placed on hold and that we are working through these cases. Unfortunately, there are many applications currently on hold and it will take some time to complete all the assessments. As soon as we are able to conclude the application we will contact you on the email address you provided within your application.

If you have any further enquiries, please visit our website at www.GOV.UK.

Kind Regards,

Not sure if they are referring to the email I received earlier today regarding the application being not straight forward or the email receipt when I actually sent the documents in January.
To me it looks like UKVI is possessed by demons.

Looks like decisions are getting made slowly but surely.

This is my sisters timeline:
Application Category: Spouse Priority
Application Submitted Online: 25/07/2017
Biometrics & Passport Submission (Location): Mirpur
Biometrics & Passport Submission (Date): 26/07/2017
Supporting Documents Sent To Sheffield On: 01/08/2017
Supporting Documents Posted Back by Sheffield On: 02/08/2017
Supporting Documents Received Back From Sheffield On: 03/08/2017
Sponsor Contacted by UKVI (if applicable): No
Decision Made email: 09/10/2017
Contacted For Collection: 09/10/2017
Collectilon made: going tomorrow inshallah it's good news!!

Total 10 weeks plus 1 day from biometrics. 51 working days.

Excited for my sister but slightly dishearten regarding my own timeline:
Application Category: Spouse Priority
Application Submitted Online: 24/07/2017
Biometrics & Passport Submission (Location): Mirpur
Biometrics & Passport Submission (Date): 26/07/2017
Supporting Documents Sent To Sheffield On: 01/08/2017
Supporting Documents Posted Back by Sheffield On: 02/08/2017
Supporting Documents Received Back From Sheffield On: 03/08/2017
Not straightforward email: 04/10/2017
Sponsor Contacted by UKVI (if applicable): No
Decision Made email: Not yet
Contacted For Collection: Not yet

Don't know why mine has been put on hold. My sister is a student but gets DLA as she is registered disabled/blind. I am a carer for our brother who is also blind and get careers allowance and have a part time job as well. I made sure every single piece of paper was perfect so they wouldn't question anything. I'm sure it is straightforward, I also had 2 Solicitors check everything and they also said it's straightforward.

Could it be the case that they are just covering their back just in case it goes over 12 weeks? I've range UKVI and the seem to think I could still get a decision within the 12 weeks but my email says this:

Unfortunately, the processing of your application has not been straightforward and we will be unable to decide your application within our customer service targets. We are continuing to work on your application and aim to make a decision as soon as possible.

I'm so confused and have so much anxiety over this. It's been the most horrible experience of my whole life, even uni exams were easier!!

Dear All

I have a humble request to all of you. If we all can add brief timeline and case history in the signature so everybody can see it and it would not be a repeat of what's your timeline, did you applied priority, did you get case not straightforward or hold email. As this repetition of questions distracts from actual question being asked or any important being shared.

Thanks

I never got hold or straightforward mail but i did raise complaint and in reply to that they send me a case not straight forward mail in september. Below is the resolution mail of my complaint

Thank you for your email correspondence of 29 August where you have raised a complaint about the delay in considering your visa application.

You have said that you submitted your application on 2 June at Pune, India, but you have yet to receive a decision. You say that you have contacted our International Enquiry Service about this matter, but have yet to receive a response.

I am unable to uphold your complaint.

I am sorry you have found it necessary to complain. While I understand it can be frustrating waiting for a decision to be made, I note from our records that we contacted you by email on 2 September explaining that your application was not straightforward and that we may hold your application for a longer period.

Though I never had that 2 September mail that they are claiming to send
The only one I got from them is of 31st one and now this one. Looks like they are not working or things are shady and intentionally they are not giving visa.

No am still waiting .I did receive this at end of September following my third phone call. Thank you for applying for a UK visa.

Due to it being our busiest period, I am afraid we are unable to make a decision on your application within our usual timescale. We aim to make a decision on your application before 31 October. If for any reason we are unable to do so, we will write to you to update.

Staff at the visa application centres or contact centres have no influence on cases and cannot provide any further advice so we recommend you do not attend or call the contact centre. Please do not go to the Visa Application Centre until you have received written confirmation that a decision has been made on your application and that your passport is ready to be collected.

We understand this will be frustrating to you and regret any inconvenience caused.

We will contact you shortly to update you on what is happening

Thank you for your understanding.
