Tier 2 G - Change of Employer Premium Service

Post by Haryho » Sun Oct 08, 2017 5:01 pm

Hi all,

So I'm about to apply for a new Tier 2 G to change my employer,
I've read a lot of posts in the forum who's tried the premium service and don't recommend it as it'll take ages anyway for them to ensure that the job is a genuine vacancy.
However, all the previous cases they were extending their visa not changing employer, so please if you have recently experienced the premium service to change your employer can you please share? is it worth it? knowing that I don't have much time for my visa expiry (expires Mid nov 17)

my 2nd question is, if hopefully the visa get approved I'll have three years left to apply for ILR, however my three dependants will have 7 months more, so should I apply for 4 years visa which is more expensive or should I go with the 3 years one and by the end of mine my dependants can extend their for 7 months?

Thanks in advance

u cant make a blanket statement of same day visa applications not being decided on same day. There are much more applications being done than the cases u see on this forum.
If i were u, apply for yourself only, then closer to dependent visa expiry, apply for their extension.
If you get longer cos, then whole family will need to pay for more than 3 years cos fee.

I thought so myself, that's why I was asking if anyone had a positive experience to share it.
Cheers buddy

I applied using the Premium service and it was decided within 2 hours. I did not submit any organizational documents, only the checklist documents (passport, BRP, police registration document, photos).

Does this mean I can apply for a switch of employer using the one day service. Also I dont need documents like payslips and bank statement?

Hi
Yes, you can use same day service "Premium" but it's not guaranteed that you'll get the decision same day.
