That's so frustrating that some of you have been waiting for so long. I don't know how we managed to get so lucky but here's our timeline so far:

I'm a Canadian citizen with a Tier 2 valid until 2020, and my husband is Austrian and already has his Qualified Person Registration Certificate (as of May 1st 2017). We got married on September 5th, and applying for the Residence Card for myself.

Application posted on : 23/09/2017
Received by UKVI/HO on : 26/09/2017
Payment taken: 27/09/2017
Home Office Email: 06/10/2017
Biometrics letter received: 09/10/2017
Biometrics enrolled: 10/10/2017

So it's pretty quick now. Maybe they were just dealing with a backlog up until now?

Keep an eye on your online application status, it normally changes after a week.
If you wanted to give them information about change of circumstances, write a cover letter, explain them the situation and give me them the new documents exercising treaty rights, it's important you keep them up to date because they can refuse your application with any small reason, don't give them a chance to object on job changing issue.
Send the documents to the same address where you sent your first application I think it's no 2 address you used.
