Declaring Driving Offence on Immigration Application.

Post by tier2ICT_ES » Fri Oct 13, 2017 9:35 am

Hi,

I need to make an in-country switch of my visa application. 15 months back I got an Fixed Penalty Notice (non-endorsable i.e. no points on my license) by the police for driving without seatbelt.. I was subsequently asked to take an online course instead which I did in time and so I dint have to pay the penalty.

As there is an question in Immigration application:
7.6 Do you have or have you ever had any of the following, in the UK or in a different country?
• a penalty for a driving offence, eg disqualification for speeding or no insurance

Should I declare Fixed Penalty notice that I got. Please let me know if anyone else had similar situation and how was that being dealt.

thanks
