Minimum stay & Earliest entry after Tier 1 Approval

Post by priya.agrawal » Wed Mar 19, 2008 8:23 pm

Hi Guys,

Again an important point to be discussed,

Scenario: Tier 1 application is successful

1. Can person enter UK any time during validity of tier 1 visa?
2. Is there minimum stay required in UK for the visa to be valid?
3. If one applies in-country now and go back to home country, can he/she come back anytime in 3 years period?

Please help on above confusions.

Hello cooldude143,

Many Thanks for valuable information.

However I heard that, though, there is no minimum stay required on tier 1 visa, the further extension may be a problem if one does stay out of UK continue for more than 3 months after tier 1 approval.

Do you have any information on this?

Thanks again!!

No. It won't be a problem to extend your stay if you can able to get the expected points.
It will be a problem when you apply for ILR(Infinete leave to remain) which has the rule of continous stay of 5 years in UK.

Thanks again!!
