Tire 1 Entrepreneur (50k), need advice

In December 2016, I applied for my Extension
In January 2017 I got the complex letter.
In June 2017 I went for the interview.
Today, I checked my online status that showing “waiting a decision, updated in April 2017”
I am here in the UK since August 2008.
I am not sure Is it ad good idea to contact local MP to expedite my case or leave it as it is?
