Marrying a UK citizen when i have a refugee status

I came in 2015 got granted a refugee status - I am a biosexual woman from Africa. i then met a ,am that a fell in love with plan to get married. my questions are
1.how will this affect my stay or my status
2.when we get married do i now become a britain citizen
3.my papers expire in 2021 - will they be renewed?

You can stay on your current route or switch to a spouse visa if you meet all the requirements.

No you don't. You still require 5 years residence and have to apply for ILR before you can think about citizenship.

3.my papers expire in 2021 - will they be renewed?

Depends what route you choose to continue with.

You realise that you are required to give 28 days notice at an HO approved Registry office if you want to get married and present your passport and proof of right to reside in the UK. The Registry office then inform HO and this notice period can be extended to 70 days for HO to investigate and/or interview each of you separately before granting permission to marry.

This depends on how you qualified for the status, in particular what the situation in your home country is. Africa is a big place with a lot of countries. Would you mind being more specific?
